Scope of Work:

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 8 years’ expertise in network engineering, backed by a strong command of Cisco technologies and routing protocols. Holding an active Secret clearance and relevant certifications (CISSP or CISA), they excel in translating complex requirements into efficient technical solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Translate user requirements, Operational Need Statements, and Capability Production Documents (CPD) into efficient technical solutions compliant with standards.
  • Develop network architectures for various units, allied nations, government agencies, and commercial interfaces.
  • Possess extensive knowledge of military communications networks, including architecture, protocols, security, and network management.
  • Lead engineering design, development, integration, installation, operation, and maintenance of the tactical network.
  • Support Data/Voice/Video/Telephony integration, technical documentation, and requirements development.
  • Provide systems engineering, field technical assistance, test and evaluation, and quality engineering.
  • Conduct technology insertion testing and develop network configurations.
  • Proficiency in Cisco technologies, routing protocols, LANs, VLANs, VOIP, Cisco Call Manager, and Redcom Sigma Core.
  • Perform network protocol analysis using Sniffer, Wireshark, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with Army Software Baselines, Microsoft systems, and Active Directory.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
  • Active Secret clearance.
  • 8+ years of network engineering experience.
  • Certification as a CISSP or CISA highly desirable.
  • Strong technical expertise in virtualization, storage technologies, and Cisco systems.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing project needs.
  • Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record for operating a company vehicle.
  • Successful completion of drug/alcohol tests and criminal record checks.
