Mark Bartle, Chief Operations Officer, Project Manager, T & H Services LLC Manager, Quality Safety Environmental Manager
Mark joined KIRA in 2006 and was the QSE Manager on the Fort Belvoir project site until transferring to Fort Carson later the same year. In 2007, Mark was promoted to Project Manager and in 2014 took on the additional role of COO. Mark has multiple QSE certifications including Colorado Air Monitoring Specialist and the Colorado Asbestos Building Inspector certification. Mark’s outstanding leadership has also brought many prestigious accolades to the THTBC family of companies including receiving perfect CPAR ratings at the Fort Carson site for the past three years and being presented the Army DPW Contractor of the Year award.
Rhianna Combs, Contract Administrator
Rhianna joined KIRA in 2007 at the Fort Carson Base Operations Support Contract where she worked in multiple departments including Purchasing and Contracts. In 2016, after working at the site level for almost ten years, Rhianna started supporting the THTBC corporate office in addition to Fort Carson. Rhianna is currently involved in a variety of areas within the company including contracts, SBA certification compliance, proposal management and business development. Rhianna has a B.S. and a Master of Science in Legal Administration from the Sturm College of Law at the University of Denver.
Karen Brewer, Senior Accountant
Karen joined KIRA in 2003 as the Office Manager on the Ft Knox, Kentucky Family Housing Maintenance contract. After the Ft Knox contract ended, Karen worked as the Accounts Payable Manager for a Management and Training Firm in Killeen, TX for two years prior to coming back on board with KIRA as a consultant helping with a variety of tasks. In July 2011, Karen was rehired as an employee and worked as the Accounts Payable Manager for KIRA until receiving the promotion to Senior Accountant in April 2014. Karen transferred to THTBC in 2016 when it purchased KIRA. Karen’s education consists of an Associate’s degree from Central Texas College and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Sullivan University where Karen graduated Summa Cum Laude. In her spare time Karen enjoys spending time at the lake with her husband either on a boat or camping. She currently resides in Kempner, TX.
Katie Sakaguchi, Human Resources Director
Katie joined KIRA and started her HR career in 2011. She has grown with the company and transferred to THTBC in 2016 when it purchased KIRA. Katie has hands-on experience leading HR initiatives including managing employee relations, policy design, compensation, recruiting, compliance reporting, HRIS implementations, HR training and development and benefits administration. She is responsible for growing the human resources organization and expanding its corporate culture as the company ramps up for significant anticipated growth.
Katie has a BA in Business Administration from Adams State University. She is a Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR). Katie is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and Employers Council (formerly Mountain States Employers Council).
Jennifer Green, Facility Security Officer
Jennifer (Jen) started work at KIRA 2015. She has been in the DoD field for 11 years and Facility Security for 6 years. She brings over 10 years of experience working for a small high-tech software company that was acquired by a large multi-national foreign company. She was also a program and project manager and Technology Control Officer. Jen received her BS in Natural Resource Management from Colorado State University in 1995. Jen lives in Fort Collins, Colorado with her husband, daughter and pets.
Le Huynh, Accounting Supervisor
Le started with KIRA in 2014 and is the corporate Accounting Supervisor. She has many years of accounting experience working in general ledger, and reviewing other staff and senior accountants’ work on payroll, AR, AP, and reconciliations. Throughout her career, Le has written and maintained department procedures and policies, helped solve complex issues, managed T&M, FFP, CCFF projects and prepared Estimate At Completion forecasts for large FFP projects. Le has also gone through various Deltek/Cost Point conversions and mergers throughout her career.
Le graduated from GMU with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Management Information Systems. Immediately upon graduation, she was hired as a staff accountant for a mid-size firm in Fairfax, Virginia. Le has excelled in her career since then and is a valued asset of the THTBC Accounting team.
Metin “Mike” Zeybel, Controller
Mike started working with KIRA in 2017. Mike has extensive experience in the government contracting arena. Previous positions held were at NTT Data Federal Systems as Associate Finance Director, Director of Financial Systems at Management Systems International, Assistant Controller at Versar to name a few. Mike has a full array of experience with ERP systems and Business Intelligence reporting software as well as accounting/finance and audit management. BS in Economics and MBA in Business Administration.
